How Haitian Creole Interpreting Services Process Works at Creole Solutions

At Creole Solutions we understand the importance of corporate communication for your business or organization.

Did you know Creole Solutions now offers interpretation services from and into Haitian Creole?

For years, Creole Solutions has built up a reputation for delivering carefully researched, high-quality translations, that is, English documents written in culturally appropriate, grammatically correct Haitian Creole.

Due to client demand, we are now also offering interpreting, or spoken language transfer. No matter whether clients need written or spoken Haitian Creole, we put the same care into selecting and briefing the most qualified providers.

    Request and Preparation

The interpreting workflow begins with your request on our website.

If you are using our corporate interpretation service for the first time, we will schedule a short prep meeting to discuss your needs.

For example, we may ask about the subject matter of the conversation to be interpreted. Any special terminology and briefing materials you may have will help our interpreters prepare.

We will also determine whether remote interpreting via video is a suitable solution.

If you set up a retainer with us, we won’t hold a prep meeting every time you call for an interpreter. After your initial set-up, you can simply call or email to schedule an interpreter.

    Selecting the Most Qualified Interpreter

With a better understanding of your organization’s needs, we then select the interpreter who is best suited for the assignment.

For example, if the meeting to be interpreted involves explaining legal procedures, we select an interpreter who not only is an educated native speaker of Haitian Creole, but who also has sufficient expertise in legal processes to master the terminology and support a professional dialog.

Our linguist will receive any information you have provided. To ensure full confidentiality, all of our interpreters have signed detailed non-disclosure agreements.

    Interpreter qualifications include:

    •  Educated native speaker

    • Expertise in the subject area and terminology

    •  Cultural understanding

    •  Full confidentiality

We will then confirm the appointment and meeting details, either at your specific location or via your preferred video meeting software.

What You Can Do to Get Optimal Interpreting Results

    Optimal Interpreting Results

Interpreting services benefit both sides of a meeting or conversation when the following points are observed:

    • Be sure to speak clearly and keep your sentences short and concise

    • Allow sufficient time for the interpreter to convey your message without rushing into the next statement

    • The facial expression of your meeting partners will indicate whether your points are understood

    • Interpreters may not omit any part of the speech they hear. They are trained to maintain the original implication, tone, and intent. The responses from Haitian Creole speakers will be rendered accurately into English to enable meaningful communication

    • In some cases, the Creole sentences you hear may sound longer or shorter than your English statements

    Follow Up

We want our interpreting process to support you in achieving your goals. Your meeting attendees should feel that they were heard and respected.

If this is your first assignment for our company, we will follow up to learn how satisfied you were with your interpreted meeting.

Your feedback will be taken into account for future sessions.
