How Language Access Shaped Our Work in 2025
A Year of Growth, Community, and Impact.
As 2025 comes to a close, we at Creole Solutions are taking time to look back on a year defined by expansion, collaboration, and strengthened community connections. This has been a year where Haitian Creole language access wasn’t just a service—it was a catalyst for inclusion, equity, and dignity across systems that shape people’s lives.
Below, we reflect on the milestones that guided our work and deepened our commitment to linguistic justice and recognition of Creole languages within the U.S.
Strengthening Our Footprint in Florida

One of the most significant developments of the year was expanding our presence in Florida. This region is home to one of the largest Haitian communities in the United States, and it continues to carry the cultural heritage and history of Haiti across generations.
Expanding our work here allows us to better support the growing need for Haitian Creole to English communication, culturally grounded language services, and high-quality Haitian Creole interpreter and Haitian Creole translator support.
By embedding ourselves more deeply in this community, we help ensure that Haitian Creole speakers can navigate healthcare, workforce systems, education, and community services with clarity and confidence.

Advancing National Visibility and Capacity
In 2025, our participation in the NMSDC Conference elevated our role in conversations about equity, supplier diversity, and inclusive business practices.
We also graduated from the Capital Readiness Program, strengthening internal operations, financial planning, and strategy, ensuring we grow responsibly as experts in Haitian Creole translation and interpretation.
These developments reinforce our mission to make language access a core part of workplace culture, community engagement, and government services.
Konbit 2025: Bringing Language, Culture, and Community Together

We hosted Konbit 2025, inspired by the Haitian concept of konbit—a tradition of community collaboration and shared responsibility. The event brought together educators, linguists, translators, interpreters, and advocates to discuss the future of Haitian Creole language access and global community inclusion.
This multi-generational dialogue addressed topics such as education, cultural preservation, identity, and the lasting impact of the colonial era on Creole languages.
Konbit reaffirmed something central to our mission: meaningful language access is built with communities, not delivered to them.
Putting Language Access Into Action
This year’s impact was especially visible where communication directly shapes outcomes.
-
At John Knox Village, Haitian Creole interpretation during open enrollment helped ensure staff and residents received accurate, culturally grounded information.
-
Across the United States, we supported organizations working to create one workplace where Haitian Creole–speaking employees receive fair access to safety guidelines, training, benefits, and career development.
-
In communities navigating immigration changes, our team provided linguistically accurate and culturally sensitive materials to support informed decision-making.
In every setting—classroom, clinic, community center, or workplace, we saw how access to interpretation and translation impacts dignity and opportunity.
Looking Forward: Supporting the Senior Care Community

We are proud to announce our sponsorship of the 2026 Assisted Living Facilities Conference, furthering our role in supporting senior care providers and healthcare systems serving diverse populations.
This collaboration allows us to champion best practices in interpretation, translation, and cultural competence—key pillars for quality care and equitable communication.
Our Impact: A Year in Numbers
In 2025, Creole Solutions:
-
Reached thousands through literacy programs, workshops, and educational initiatives
-
Delivered hundreds of hours of Haitian Creole language access support
-
Helped dozens of organizations strengthen communication with Haitian Creole-speaking individuals
-
Supported Haitian families navigating complex immigration processes
-
Fostered collaboration around culture, identity, and education through Konbit 2025
These numbers reflect a deeper truth: communication creates connection, and language is a tool for empowerment, not a barrier.
Our Commitment for the Year Ahead

As we enter a new year, we remain committed to building language access systems that honor cultural accuracy and promote equity.
We will continue advocating for Haitian Creole as a language of instruction, care, governance, and community pride, especially during moments like Pride Month, when identity and visibility matter most.
Thank you for being part of our mission and our continued journey toward equitable communication for all.
